Love Kills takes Rainer Fassbinder’s ‘The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant’ as its starting point, and fashions a fresh play of ambition, power struggles, sexual revolutions and catastrophic romantic love. Character and narrative structure are re-examined; gender swaps and S&M are never far from the surface…
