A normal day in Chelsea's World's End. Street cleaners are sweeping the pavements. A woman enters the square wearing a plain coloured dress and carrying a handbag. She puts the handbag down and a beat begins, and the sound of a classic dance track fills the air.
Geraldine Pilgrim's Handbag comes to Kensington and Chelsea, re-imagined for The World’s End Place. This is a celebratory performance involving lots of people, great music, dancing and handbags made for ballrooms, theatres and unusual spaces inside and out.
